The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, through its many association groups, offers a variety of scholarships and educational stipends to individuals pursuing undergraduate and advanced degrees in dietetics or food and nutrition-related areas. New Mexico Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Scholarship

Scholarships are available in the amount of $1000 and are granted by the New Mexico Dietetic Association Scholarship Committee. The deadline can be found on the website. The application can be found on the NMAND website.

International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC)

About IFEC The International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) is a non-profit membership association. Its 250 members include writers and editors, public relations and marketing communications professionals, educators, and consultants working in and with the foodservice media. Through its scholarship program, IFEC strives to increase awareness and understanding of career opportunities available in food service communications and encourage the entry of qualified professionals into the field.

Some eligibility information A combination of your work experience and current and past education should indicate that you are preparing for a career in writing or public relations within the food service industry. This is a key requirement. Examples of studies and work experiences considered applicable: Foodservice studies: Culinary arts; hotel, restaurant, and institutional management; hospitality management, dietetics, nutrition, food science and technology, and related Communication studies: Journalism, public relations, mass communication, English, broadcast journalism, marketing, photography, graphic arts, etc.
